Finished #reading #KissMeJudas (Graphic Novel) by #WillChristopherBaer.
This is the graphic novel adapted from the screenplay & sticks pretty closely to the source, with some condensing & a slightly modified ending.
Illustrations are deliberately sparse (think #EddieCampbell with #AlanMoore on #FromHell) & it suits the tone. The writing captures the unhinged, hallucinogenic mood of the novel. & so, whilst this recommended, first read the novel. You’ll thank me.

@dnanian Not sure if you’ve read the novel (which is incredible, & then bettered by Penny Dreadful), but the graphic novel handles the source well.
The edits and tweaks (presumably to make it fit for the screen) are well done imo and don’t really diminish the essential weirdness & nastiness of the novel.
I see it was a Kickstarter project and originally intended to be full colour. I presume it must have fallen short of the target… Which is shame.
