People's processing capabilities can change on the fly, and comparing people's intelligence is at best ridiculous and worst it often travels into the eugenics arguments. I had the tests done to me in 3rd grade. I couldn't figure out what it had to do with intelligence. As an autistic person, my brain pools all resources for my interests. My focus plays a huge role. "IQ" is deprecated.
@soundconjurer @gwensnyder Psychology 101 was 95% nonsense, especially large swaths of Freud, but the best takeaway for me was the study we did on IQ.
There is so much wrong there, from the way the committees are formed, to the nonsense involved in the test creation, the dependence on geographic and economical factors, and arbitrary smattering of "subjects", not to mention different schools and even countries teach different things at different times.

@shram86 @gwensnyder , 100% agree and it continues to be more ridiculous the further one explores the details. Any intelligent person looks at IQ and sees it as a purely vanity metric. I know so many poorly educated people with phenomenal reasoning skills. IQ is a deprecated egotistical fantasy.
