Been re-reading (or in some cases reading for the first time) a ton of Thunderbolts and related stuff. And man... Baron Zemo is so much nastier and more interesting in the comics than on screen. #noxp
I like the version of Zemo in Falcon & Winter Soldier (and Civil War, tho we don't really get to know him there). But it's best to think of him as a totally different character.
Also, while I'm being a whiny comics fan... as a devotee of Damage Control by McDuffie et al., I feel like they just shouldn't have used that name for the shady gov't agency in the MCU. It's not Damage Control! #noxp
@charliejane As someone who knew Dwayne McDuffie, I wholeheartedly agree.
@nitpicking Oh man, I'm jealous. I exchanged some emails with him back in the day but never met him. :(
@charliejane I actually "met" Dwayne online before the Web existed, on the Comics RoundTable of GEnie. Later I invited him to cons as a guest, which gave me a chance to talk to him in person a few times. Most of the Milestone creators were GEnie regulars.
