Note regarding the chiptune hashtag that's just The Civil War in France and of course (T-T)b
This will be a horrible scenario for Philadelphia:
"Those and other cuts totaling 45% of SEPTA service would be implemented in two phases, starting this fall — if the Pennsylvania legislature doesn’t pass Gov. Josh Shapiro’s latest proposal to increase state aid for mass transit systems."

Big ups to Punxsutawney Phil who totally nailed the late spring this year. Philly metro expects snow showers tonight.
Hey #Philly #Philadelphia if you like having a transit system it might be time to give some reps a ring.

No trains or subways in the evening, no trains to NJ, DE, or the main line... this would be a disaster.
If you live in Southeastern Pennsylvania, SEPTA is planning on reducing service, based on the lack of funding, starting in August. There will also be a fare increase.
"Hearings on the operating budget are scheduled for May 19 at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. at SEPTA’s headquarters, as well as on May 20 at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Hearings on the capital portion of the budget are scheduled for May 21 at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m."
No regional rail after 9:00 pm.
Yes, this is the beginning of protracted negotiations, but SEPTA has been underfunded for a very long time.
You can check to see if your bus service is going to be impacted at https://www.inquirer.com/transportation/inq2/septa-service-cuts-information-20250410.html
#PHILLY folk!!!! The end of public transpo? No trains after 9???https://www.inquirer.com/transportation/septa-budget-announcement-bus-subway-cuts-20250410.html
Seeing Schoolly D open for The Dwarves is not something I'd ever expect, let alone in 2025, but here we are.
Be wary of the free dirt from the City of Philadelphia. Use it for backfill not gardening.
Used it few yrs back and lost over half my garden and still fighting to save a big tree. Emailed the county agent for advice. They said the free dirt often contains Roundup which caused my issues. Srsly. Caveat emptor.

Philly people! This summer I'm offering a class on perspective at the Arts League. I'll be walking students through a series of exercises to build both a technical understanding of perspective and an intuitive sense of space.
